I am so so so so sooooo madly in lurve with you Eames. Hhahaa...Dear hubby, don't be jealous - if you're reading this post. I hope you will feel the same as I do. Hahha...Eames is a great designer and I've grown to be a huge fan of his! I've seen his chairs everywhere - one of the restaurants at Clarke Quay, home interior deco magazines, and MORE home decorating magazines. It's like everywhere, be it local or overseas. Or rather, is it that I just happen to have fate with his awesome chairs and they're just calling out to me this whole time. I seriously have no idea. LOL. But I am so in love with his beautiful crafted works. Look at them. Just take a look I beg you! Then you might understand what the hell I am crazy about. And I have plans. Even though I am still suffering from very bad case of diarrhea + rumbling tummy, I still cannot stop myself from secretly blogging (at work) :P

Again, when I have plans for my future HSH (read: Home Sweet Home), I still think there's a long long way ahead for me. Don't know when that will be, when it will come true, but I will still keep my faith there.

I wanna have one of these as my 'work chair' in my home (work area). Yes the beautiful ORANGE padded one with wooden legs please. It simply looks so awesome, I can just hyperventilate whenever I take a look a the photos.

And I love the padded one! Especially the padded one. It's like an extra comfort as compared to the usual Eames plastic chair. Hehe, way to go man! So, I will have one for my working area, and 6 for my dining table. Yes pls Dear, pls make my dream come true. I've never felt such a sooooo strong liking for anything before. This is the ONE(other than you & Falisha of course) hurhurhur. I soooooo wanna get it! Let's just hope it's not wayyy too expensive for my(OUR) pockets.

I took a good look over the net and I realise these stuff are more or less what I really hope to have for my future home. Am looking more to something like modern chic. I wonder if Hubs will agree with my style. I remember him saying along time ago, that he'll be more concerned about the $$$-wise.

Recently, I went to have coffee at the long-awaited newly-opened Kopitiam at my Mum's place. Sis has been saying the kopi there nice etc, so I tot, heck, just go and try. Guess what? This was my 1st experience.

Me & my Mum was at the counter. Bro was carrying a sleeping Falisha so we went to get the drinks instead. This was the conversation between me, my Mum & the 2 Aunties at the Kopi counter:

Aunty 1: Oh cappuccino need to wait 5mins hor.

Me & mum: Ok can.

Mum(to the Aunty): Ok

Aunty 2: Oh the machine shut down liao. Or do you wanna drink something else?

Mum: Hmm. Ok then do you have Kopi C?

Aunty 2: Oh Kopi oso finished.

Me: So you have any kopi or not?? (Feelin pissed aredy )

Aunty 1: Cappuccino need to wait for 5mins k. So you wanna wait?

Mum: Eh..ok la 5mins can la.

Aunty 2: So you want?

Mum: Ok then 2 cappuccinos pls.

Aunty 1: Eh..b-but you might need to wait slightly more than 5mins k. Actually I need to go back liao, I worked since 6am you know...

Me: SO ARE YOU SELLING YOUR CAPPUCCINOS OR NOT??? HAVE SAY HAVE, DON'T HAVE SAY DON'T HAVE LAH!!!!! NO NEED TO EE-EE-ORR-ORR LOH! ISSIT REALLY SO DIFFICULT TO DECIDE WHETHER YOU WANNA SELL OR NOT???????

Then my Mum signal to my Sis and she came over.

Mum to sis: You wanna drink anything else or not? Like milo/teh etc.

Sis: I don't want anything then.

Aunty 1 to my sis: Oh you want ah? You want cappuccino ah? Okok I make one just for you k!

[I gave a disgusted look & walked away]

Is it me being damn anal or is it these freakin Aunties just have NO BRAINS?? Goodness. Just wanna have a taste of their so-called nice Kopi and I was 'awarded' with this blood-pressure raising incident. WTF siah.

My Little L.A.D.Y

This is exactly what Falisha will do when she sees me holding my hp or cam trying to snap some shots of her. Haha...I sometimes ask her to smile, then she'll give me this ugly 'smiling' face. And then I simply felt stoopiak [read: stupid & needs to be slapped] after I said to her ok ok don't smile. BEST. I now know why sometimes kids thought that adults are contradicting people. Hahah...when I look back at those funny shots such as this, I cannot help but laugh to myself. LOL.

Recently she has been starting to say 3-word sentences. After which I hear liao I dunno whether to laugh or cry.

One example: After patting her for like 30mins for night sleep around 11:30-ish, she suddenly sat up from super sleepy mode to wide-awake saying 'I want...i-cweeem [ice cream]. My jaw dropped. Like in shock mode. I asked Falisha,'What did you say Darling?' She went,'I want I-CWEEEEEEM!' this time round like abit pek-chek. OMG. Then next thing I know, she said [like as if I din get it] 'Mummy I want cho-co-ret'. I was still having the shock face and finally she said,'I want shweet-shweet!'

Champion la my little girl! Asking for these super no-no things in the middle of the night, I wanted to laugh but had to hide it and look strict and say,'No Darlin it's late night aredy, you need to sleep!' Then she threw and mini-fit and I had to use the 'scolding' tone to stop her nonsense. Then she just lay down and sleep. Winner!

Sometimes when I bring her out to 'walk-walk' abit she'll be in super good mood, sometimes she'll just call out loudly 'Mummy! Mummy-ah-mummy!' then run over to me and hug my humongous leg, smiling. How swheeet siah.

She's growing up by the day. OMG. My Little Lady.

Dearest beloved Quik-tina surprised me when I met her up for dinner recently. She bot me a Toy camera! Somemore it comes along a very cute customised card - hand-drawn by her. Haha...So shweeeet of her hor! It's the Superheadz Pink Dress Slim Cam with 22mm lens. Simply lurve it when it says 'Super Fat Lens'. Hahahaa... It's just so cool, I like it alot! Hahaha..And...she got me a PINK one! Muahaha...it was a very 'girly' colour but I like it alright :D

Thankyu Quik-tina! I can't wait to finish up that 1st roll of 36's and 'develop' the film! It seems like it's been a while since I last used a film cam. Hope the shots come out nice siah. It's really a test to my photog skills too. Hahaha...

I watched this movie called Julie & Julia a couple of weeks back. Alone. Yes alone. Starring Amy Adams & Meryl Streep, it was a simple heart-warming story about this lady Julia Child (Meryl Streep) who started a cookbook from her passion back in 1949. Julie Powell (Amy Adams) started a blog in 2002 as a challenge to cook all the recipes in Julia Child's first recipes cookbook. Their lives intertwined somehow...both were housewives and found their passion and way to success - with faith and perseverance and the support of their loving husbands and friends.

Looking at the life of Julie Powell(the modern lady), I was sudden engulfed in tears. As she challenge herself to cook all the recipes in Julia's cookbook, her husband was always there supporting her. The way he eats her food, oh my, it's just amazing. Hahaha..i've always lurved cooking, but my hubby being so sooo far away (yea i know it's only KL but to me it's still farrrr away) I can't really have the chance to do this anymore. When he's back, we will always be running around meeting relatives or friends for catching up. So I'm left with not much chances to cook for my loved one. Sighs. Looking at Julie cooking (not just for her husband but trying out the recipes) with the hub enjoying the food so much, I really really envy her. And of course whipping up some nice dishes and getting friends over for mini cosy gathering, that's just something I would very much like to do. I would very much lurve to have my VERY OWN SELF-DESIGNED kitchen where I can try out different dishes and who knows create new dishes. But I seriously wonder when that day will ever come.

Wow. I cannot imagine the last post I blogged about was in Oct '09. That's like freakin' long hiatus! LOL...

Anyways, I decided to start blog again - thanks to Leonny & Xiaxue. Reading their blogs inspired me to blog again after so long, and also to start 'photoblogging'! hehee...I hope it's not a periodical thing. Really wanna know more about photography and blogging skills, and I really envy these gd bloggers who can blog for a living (in a way la). Nice :)

Since this is my very 1st blog in 2010, I shall start with the 'resolution thingy'. Hahaa.

For work in KL. For a new future. Sighs..it's been 5hrs 25mins since I've last saw him. But I'm starting to miss him already. When we parted just now, I was fighting my tears so hard, I was worried I'll just burst out sobbing instead, right there, in front of him. Good thing I managed to hold back. I wanted him to go with a good mood, good feeling, instead of being heavy-hearted.

This is just a temporary arrangement, some say. You'll get used to it over time. Yea, but I still need to go thru this period isn't it?? Sighs..hope he'll call me soon tonight. He promised to call when he's reached there and settled down today.

Believe it or not, I've fallen in love with this very interesting Children's Program, WordWorld, now showing on Starhub Cable TV, Playhouse Disney Ch 34. I feel that it's seriously incorporated learn AND play into one lovely 3D animation series, I sooOoo cannot wait for Falisha to start understanding TV educational programs other than her usual dance and sing and shapes & colours kinda videos. Hahaha..i tot of getting the DVDs already, but dunno whether is it wayyy too early to get it. Probably a nice age is when Falisha hits 2 years old? Can read and understand things alil' better? Hah. Maybe I should just buy and keep 1st yea.

Imagine:
The insect ant is formed with the letters A, N & T, the animal sheep formed with the letters S,H,E,E & P, and teaches viewers (why i dun mention kids cos i'm oso watching mah) how to form Words by adding letters together - what a nice concept! heehehe... As the stories usually revolve around the animals in the farm, the words are kinda limited though. But I still lurve it :)

Recently, a very close family-like friend has entered a serious state of Cancer and needs to undergo op asap. They desperately need financial aid so i helped them looked around and found the society who supports the needy who kena this type of illness.

I emailed them to make enquiries, only to be ARROWED to some other sources with just 2-sentence replies in two emails. I read through her replies over and over again, wondering whether is it my english is too lousy or is it just her. I even showed it to a colleague to ask for opinion and she agreed with me: The lady didn't really answer my question.How lame can that be? I am totally DISGUSTED by this type of 'helpful' spirit of our fella country mate. What the hell?? This lame soul didn't even ask me further about the background of our friend and just said, 'we could not help'. WOW.

Just one simple approach from us and the UGLY side of the truth spills out.

Being a working Mum now, i feel that it's damn difficult to manage and juggle the balance between work and personal life. My kinda shitload work nowadays makes me:

1) Skip my breatmilk-pumping times
2) Stretch the hours longer to the next pump
3) Produce lesser breast milk - thanks to the stress
4) See my daughter/Hubs for only freakin' 2hrs before she goes to Zzz-mode
5) Many others, but these are the main concern

How come no one told me so??

I promised myself to keep giving Falisha BM for at least 9mths before I finally gave in. But now it's not even 6mths and my BM is diminishing very quickly. I feel so depressed. Sighs.

Mummies out there, if you still have lotsa BM 5-6mths after you gave birth to your little one, keep giving your little one the better option k! I would really very much like to but too bad i can't. Sighs. I'm sorry Falisha. I have tried my best.

Somehow it was so not what i expected. Haha. Felt bad for leaving Falisha at my Mum's though. Haha...God i missed her! LOL. But anyways she won't know how to enjoy and

Ok-ok loh. The big boys (our hubbies) enjoyed it better. They had a great ‘bonding’ time leh – cos they stayed in the same room. I had abit of ‘alone time’ with my hubby though haha.

Hahaha...ok i know the picture looks scary and it has nothin got to do with my post actually. Posted the pix just for the fun of it. Haha..same title mah :P

Ok last evening my hubby told me that the maid that we applied for (use our names, but supported by my MIL + her siblings - long story la) to take care of his Ah Ma is here and 'ready for collection'! Hahaha...hope that she can manage taking care of the Ah Ma and once she's settled down ok, my MIL told us to let her take care of Falisha. Actually i dun want leh...like...OMG. I dun feel comfortable with it, but what to do. I wanna take care of Falisha MYSELF. I would really really like to, but how to?? Standard of living in S'pore so high, how can one spouse not work in a family? It's impossible(unless my hubby earn 8-10k a month la)!

So far i've set up my mind, if the maid is taking care of Falisha, she'll only be in her care during weekdays. Well I've never liked the idea of having a maid taking care of my kids. As long i'm in the house, i will take care of my darlin! I still wanna bathe her, feed her, wash her clothes, do the laundry and hang out dry, fold her clothes(i have my own style of folding), wash me and my hubby's clothes. She can help me fold our clothes if she wants to. Haha...i'm not hoping for a super-maid, so long she treats my hubby's Ah Ma well and of course Falisha, i'm fine.

OMG...lost of privacy loh! The house is super crowded now siah...i'm running outta space to put my stuff :(

Finally, i found some time to cook. It ain't easy man. I used to cook whenever i have the free time to when i was preggie. But now, i tried for a few times, cook halfway. Falisha will eh, eh, eh. Very ma fan - cos i had to drop whatever i was doing halfway to attend to her! So i decided not to - unless i have no clothes to wash and not much household chores to do. Heh. Yesterday was THE day. Last night Falisha had her head shaved. Now she looks like a monk, a boy, and especially a cabbage patch kid doll! Ahahaha...hopefully her hair will grow more and grow back quick! LOL...oh Now i know how u feel, Uncle Brian (an ex-colleague a Thai who went for monkhood recently)! Muahahaaha

Look at the 1st photo, my Mum popped by earlier and was playing with her, Falisha laughed! I've neber seen her laugh like that before, only smile. Hahaha...Mothers always the best, Mothers know it all! My mum was playing with her till she laughed. My heart melted when i saw her laughing. How amazing!

On a Sunny last Sunday, we decided to bring Falisha to visit my Ah Ma (Paternal) @ the old folks home( Ah Ma damn gan zheong liao haha) - it's abt time. We wanted to wait till she reaches at least a month old then bring her out - immune system not so strong yet mah. LOL.

Falisha was a real sleepy head! Piangs...the moment we stepped outta our house, she was real fast asleep.

Then in the car, she slept.

When we arrived at my Mum's place to pick her and my Bro & Sis up, she slept.

When we arrived at my Ah Ma's place, she slept.

Whoa piangs! Hahaha...think she really cannot tahan the Sun man. Must bring her out more! Hehehe...

Morning (To standby anytime she wakes up)

- Check whether poopoo or not
- Warm up Breastmilk
- Getting the bath ready for her Royal Highness
- Bath time
- Milk time
- Sleep time
- Pump milk

Afternoon (To standby anytime she wakes up)
- Exercise (She might wake up anytime)
- Do the laundry (She might wake up anytime)
- Fold clothes (She might wake up anytime)
- Shower (She might wake up anytime)
- Pump milk again (She might wake up anytime)
- Cook (sometimes) (She might wake up anytime)
- Check mail (maybe only) (She might wake up anytime)

OMG! My darling Baby is One month old liao! So fast! Her cheeks are getting chubbier by the day, and i'm restraining myself from pinching them. Haha..Grow well and healthy, my Baby :)

Last Sun brought Falisha to my Mum's place, despite the 31 July 08 being 2 days away from her full month. Since it's a weekend and a nice timing, Mum told me to bring her darlin grand daughter to her house - like a chinese custom thingy. Hahaha...so it was like a mini gathering where my own Ah Ma and a couple of Aunty and Uncle came by. It was fun! My Mum was so excited, i would say she took care of Falisha all the way ever since we reached her house! Gagaga...cannot blame her la hor, excited mah. Heheh...And Falisha was such a guai guai dearie, she was awake for the longest time! And my family and relatives kept snapping pictures of her, they looked like the Paparazzi la! Muahaha... And that surprised me too...hehe...like as if she knows she's at a different and everyone's there to see her, so she must be awake to 'entertain' the guests. Gagaga...

Ok fine. Yes. I'm so cushioned, BB Falisha will always fall asleep lying on me. Haha...it's been a really tiring 10 days after her arrival, but all is worth it. Everytime i look at her small little cute face, it just melts my heart. Falisha is slowly getting used to the surroundings, and we are oso slowly getting used to her routines. Haha.

Falisha is full of expressions. She lurves to smile, even when she's sleeping. haha. But I caught this interesting one, cos i think she's wondering why her Mummy is busy snapping pix of her and laughing to herself. LOL. BTW as u can see, my hubby's grandma 'lines' Falisha with eyeliner ard her eyes and eyebrows. The cross-looking symbol between her brows apparently wards off evil. LOL. Yes i know. Very traditional. And all the eye-lining is the 'secret remedy' to super dark eyelines and lashes and brows! Duno how true it is. LOL. Hubby and I were just debating who Falisha looks like more. I must agree that compare from birth till now, her eyelids are much thicker. But yes, for now she looks more like an Indian BB to me. Bleahhh

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 6am
Went to pee as usual at 6am. Was shocked to see some discharge. Knew it could be the 'show', heard from a friend that she got something similar to that, so i smsed to check if hers was like that.

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 6:48am
Felt very mild contractions like menses cramp. Instinct told me to monitor for an hr or so then see how(anyways clinic will only be open at 9am). The mild contractions were consistent on the average of 2-5mins. Become stronger by the hr.

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 9:10am
Called gynae's clinic and checked with the nurse. Said she'll call my gynae and check with him the next step. 5mins later, she called back and said Doc told me to admit straight to Eastshore. I was like, whoa so fast! LOL.

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 10.15am
Reached Eastshore and did admission procedures. Was in Labour ward by 10.30am. Midwife (i think) put me on the drip to make contractions come faster as instructed by gynae.

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 12:30pm
While waiting for my gynae, i heard next labour ward got woman whining and screaming. Goodness! Then Gynae arrived. Came to check - i was only 3cm dilated. He din warn me - and burst my water! Not the bursting painful, but the cervix check painful! LOL.

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 4pm
Started using the laughing gas, but din work for me leh. Very intense contractions started coming in. Hubby was very encouraging, told me to 'breathe in, out, in out'. Haha. But it was PAINFUL!!! Seriously! But i tahan n so no Epi for me. Nurse came to check and told me not to tahan anymore, ask if i wanna use jab on my right thigh n i agreed. Gynae came to check again n i was abt 8cm dilated. 2cm more to go!

2 Aug 2008, Sat - 5+pm
Super contractions came in - PAIN!!! Whoa...cannot tahan siah! Every min was like torturing! Nurse said can push liao, so push and push and push. Duno how many pushes - i lost count! It was such excruciating pain, i almost gave up! Like i was wondering how can i EVER push bb out?? I was also wondering when the hell Doc will SNIP me. Hahah. 2 Nurses, n my hubby was there. One of them was assisting to push bb out from my tummy - i couldn't care less anyways. Gynae finally came and started his work. Told me to try harder. I think i lost too much energy trying the initial pushes. Then, i heard gynae said," I think her BB need some help. I was wondering, vacuum? Forceps? No way! So one FINAL PUSH, my Baby Princess Falisha is out at 1737hrs! LOL. What surprised me was that, she's only 2.73kg at 48cm. Imagine less than 3kg aredy so hard to push, whatmore bigger bbies? Hahah...Straightaway i tot...Mums are the greatest! I am a proud Mummy who went Al-Natural! hehe...

Baby Falisha is very clever - i kept telling her that my Gynae was gonna go on leave on the 3 Aug 2008 onwards, and she chose to pop on the day before - and got him to deliver at last! Heehee...kept telling her that if she wants him to deliver her, she can choose whenever she wants to pop!

Anyone like me? My poor feet has been swollen these past 2 days, and it's awful! It's definitely not painful, but very uncomfortable, especially my left foot. Goodness. But my only is that signs of swelling like Michelin might mean that my BP level is not good- might be my pre-eclampsia going haywire. Worry it might affect BB. I've been guai-guai-ing taking the BP control pills my gynae gave since the visit to him last Fri and i really hope to get my BP down so i can go induce this wk! Bleah...

Went for my gynae visit yesterday. BB is 2.9kg @ 37+ weeks! LOL...Shocked me...haahaa...din expect her grow this fast. Haaha..but good la. Dun have to worry BB being too small to deliver next wk. It's finally coming! Sadly, my gynae said that i'm having mild pre-eclampsia, so my BP is already on the high side. Gotta take the BP control pills to bring it back to normal - hopefully by my next checkup on THurs, i can deliver by Friday! Hehehe...so exciting...but the waiting is unbearable! Feeling excited but anxious at the same time. Dr put me on MC again till next Thurs. Most things like cleaing up room / space are done. So now is the waiting part.

Hubby & me moving on to our next phase of life~! I hope we can be good parents to our akan datang BB girl. See ya soon BB!

False Contraction - Episode #1

Goodness! Had a bad scare last Friday, 18 July 08. Woke up earlier than usual in the morning, cos I needed to attend a staff meeting - chaired by my big boss. When i was abt to leave the house, i felt a crampy feelin in my tummy - so thought i needed to take a big dump, which i did. After that, that crampy feeling still lingered in my tummy. And worse of all, it spread to my lower right back. It was a weird feeling altogether - something which i've never felt before.

I put away the thought and hoped it would subside after awhile. Hubby offered to send me to the MRT station, so i gladly agreed. But when i checked my watch, i would be late if i were to take MRT to work. So i told hubby, i wanted to take cab. He was so sweet (even he was gonna be late) he offered to send me to work. Best la! Hahaa..so i happily got into the car (with the weird crampy feeling in my tummy n back). Immediately when i sat in, i started to have cold sweat. The feelin was unbearable. Hubby asked if i felt the pain every 5mins, it wasn't exactly like that, i told him. Soon, it became more n more unbearable i started to panic. I finally decided to call my colleague to ask her advice. She told me better to drop by my gynae's for a checkup. So i did.

On the way down to the clinic, the pain got worse. Buay tahan leh! Hubby was trying to divert my attention by talking to me, hoping i won't think too much of the pain. Instead, i told him - do not ask me questions that i need to think! I can't talk n think right now! Hahaa....was feelin pissed siah...poor hubby :P

When i reached the clinic, Dr. wasn't in yet, so the nurses called him and he informed them to put me on the CTG to monitor my contractions + Baby's heartbeat. BB was soooooo active! Moving abt so much that the nurse had to keep adjusting the device to locate her heartbeat sound several times. Think she was having fun swimming in the big pool in my tummy. Haaha...

After 30mins, my contractions died down...left with mild cramps. Boy, i was so weak by the time Dr. arrived. Aiyoo...when he popped by to see how i was, he asked me,"So, are u ready to give birth?" I was like,"HUH??" Shocked me siah! WHen the nurses told me to enter Dr's room, he said that i had 3 options:

If he check my cervix has started to dilate, he'll induce me.
He'll insert a pill to 'bring forward' the contractions.
Wait n see.

I din know what to think. Just sat there and listen. The only worry on my mind is that BB's weight/size - is she ready to come out? So i told him, both me and hubby prefer the last method. So indeed, when he scanned my bb, she was only 2.57kg. How can? Too small la...risky. So he said, "Alright, i guess u're just left with option #3." Hahaa...but he told me i needed to take a good rest at home, so ask me how many days of MC i wanted ( i din got Dr actually asks patients this type of qtn haha). I said, 2 days should be sufficient. THen he said," Are you sure? I think i better give u till next Fri, so u'll have one full week of rest at home k!" So i said ok loh(too shocked liao). Hahaha...

And here i am, resting at home, refraining myself from do work. Mon n Tue was so slow-passing...Lucky hubby was around these 2 days to accompany me. Today i felt better, so tot wanna wash my BB's bedsheet/pillow/bolster cases and sun the cushions (since they are all very light and small) - it rained! Spoil my day man! BLeahhh...

Now, i hope my BB will keep growing to the right size, so she can pop soon. Can't wait to see her! Hehee...

Oh my goodness. A guy in his mid-30s gave up his seat to me this morning when i was travelling in the MRT to work! May the Lord bless him! Ahahaaaa...how rare can it get? I was so surprised when he tried to wave at me - i tot he was saying hi to his fren near me! Muahahaa...Oh my, there's still some bit of hope left afterall! Hehee...i smiled to him and said 'Thankyu' like twice. Hehe...that really perked up my day! I'm really grateful to him as i really needed a seat - after getting the stoopid pain in my lower left back. But i wasn't expecting anything like that at all in this Singaporean society. Really eases my pain alittle. LOL...i hope he's a fellow Singaporean though, not some very kind foreigner man...Haha. Thanks, dude, once again!

Supposingly, today's blog is abt rantings on my sleepless nites, backaches, leg cramps & some stoopid Auntie who stared at my tummy and then me n then my hubby last evening at Tampines Mall, but getting this nice treatment from a stranger this morning makes me forget abt these irritation temporarily. Haha.

Sista. Friend. Colleague.

Brina's leaving S'pore for good. 2nd time somemore! Dunch like him! Always doing this to me. Sob. Knew him since way back in 2005 in one of our advertising agency. Still remember he was still a very new A.E and very much scared of everything. On his 1st day of work, he was sooooooo decent! Hahaha...But this thai hiao poh actually showed me the friendliness of the sistahood and became a very close fren. We went skating together. Damn fun! Somemore he jio me to join the gym and i managed to lose some pounds. LOL.

A couple of years after he left, we're back to working in the same co. again. Now I'll miss the times he share with me his weird fart & burp stories and gross encounters. No one will come and play and mess up my hair and ask for any food and dirty my work area and tok to my tummy and ask my bb weird questions liao. No more. And the super sad part - he will NOT be here when my BB comes into this world! Bleahhh...

Goodness, I am, and it's scary! Before i got preggie, i was already a super sweaty person. All inherited from my Mum. Hahaa..when i was staying with her before married we used to challenge each other and see who sweats more while doing housework at home. Can you believe it! It's really incredible and super unbelievable...

And now that I'm pregnant, it got worst! Oh my, i feel like i'm in Sauna everyday! Even my hubby couldn't understand why i can sweat like a cow at home - even when the fan is ON! And i'm getting complains on why i have to switch on the aircon together WITH the fan! hahaa...but i really can't help it! It's not my fault that i feel hot leh... as if i like it and asked for it!

I have been wondering, if this is a common situation to see everyday. Old folks taking MRT or buses, have been holding on to the poles of the public transport for their dear lives while they struggle to stable themselves on the moving vehicles. Preggie woman with huge stomaches, aching backs and feet trying to do the same, protecting their tummies from idiots who bump into them without blinking an eye. Mothers who are carrying one or two kids with bags of several sizes. I noticed today while taking a feeder bus to Eunos MRT station - that the sign pasted on the bus itself says - Please give up your seat to the elderly. So what about the Mothers-to-be? And the mothers with kids (alone)? I Know it doesn't matter what sign it shows anyways. If not old folks are not getting their seats, what more for us as preggies?

And yes, I'm F.A.T, but I'm pregnant too!

Anyways, I'm not pinning hopes (or rather, ANY at all) that thru'out my very 1st pregnancy someone will surprise me and give up his/her seat. I sure kena 4D or TOTO man! Hahaha...heng i'm a Big Mama-to-be so I guess my centre of gravity is pretty good, and i can still stable myself without much trouble. But at times my aching back always make me feel very irritated - what can i do? Nowadays i can't stand too long at one shot. So i gotta face that fact. Bleahhh...

What can we do about people who pretend to be:

• Sleeping (Especially upon seeing pregnant women - AMAZING!)

• Playing games

• Talking on the phone

• SMS-ing

• Talking to friends beside them

• or even 'stoning' (Can you believe it?!)

Nothing.

Hubby and I have always liked Samsung LCD TVs but so far didn't really have the chance to get one yet - so now it's at such a reasonable price, we decided to get it there and then! hehe...
